Originally from Colombia, Dr. Stefhany Duque moved to Florida at the age of ten. She has lived in the state of Florida ever since and moved to the Orlando area with her husband in 2018. Dr. Duque attended Florida Gulf Coast University for her undergraduate degree in Biology. She then went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry–Go Gators! She is professionally involved with the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Duque–also known as Dr. D– has been trained with the most current technology. She has formal training in all aspects of dentistry including braces, clear aligners, root canal treatment, crowns and cosmetic dentistry (veneers/lumineers). She takes delight in treating the whole family from grandparents to children. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. D’s goal is to change the way patients may feel towards dentistry and put them at ease. Her sensitive approach coupled with her expertise in the field of dentistry creates a relaxed atmosphere and exceptional results for her patients.

In her free time, Dr. D loves spending time with her husband and labradoodle. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and trying new foods. She loves spending time outdoors and is always looking for a new trail to run or hike. Dr. Duque is very happy to be part of the Sand Lake Dental team and is looking forward to serving the community one smile at a time
