DR. ZIYAD MAALI, DMD, FAGD

Dr. Ziyad Maali, DMD, is a local area resident, having attended Dr.Phillips Elementary School, West Ridge Middle School, and graduated Dr.Phillips High school. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University, and received his Dental Degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Maali is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Dental Society of Greater Orlando, Academy of General Dentistry.

He strives to meet the dental health needs of his local community through his dental office, treating patients with a wide array of new dental techniques and procedures.

Dr. Maali enjoys spending time with his family, and frequently volunteers at the Orange County Dental Research Clinic to provide dental services for the under-served in our area.

DR. STEFHANY DUQUE, DMD

Originally from Colombia, Dr. Stefhany Duque moved to Florida at the age of ten. She has lived in the state of Florida ever since and moved to the Orlando area with her husband in 2018. Dr. Duque attended Florida Gulf Coast University for her undergraduate degree in Biology. She then went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry–Go Gators! She is professionally involved with the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Top Dentist in Orlando, Dr. Duque–also known as Dr. D– has been trained with the most current technology. She has formal training in all aspects of dentistry including braces, clear aligners, root canal treatment, crowns and cosmetic dentistry (veneers/lumineers). She takes delight in treating the whole family from grandparents to children. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. D’s goal is to change the way patients may feel towards dentistry and put them at ease. Her sensitive approach coupled with her expertise in the field of dentistry creates a relaxed atmosphere and exceptional results for her patients.

In her free time, Dr. D loves spending time with her husband and labradoodle. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and trying new foods. She loves spending time outdoors and is always looking for a new trail to run or hike. Dr. Duque is very happy to be part of the Sand Lake Dental team and is looking forward to serving the community one smile at a time

DR. EDEN

Dr. Eden was born in Montreal, Canada and grew up traveling to several countries with her family. She moved to Orlando where she attended University of Central Florida and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then graduated from University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan with her Doctorate in Dental Surgery and has since practiced in both North and Central Florida. Dr. Eden is also an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Florida Dental Association (FDA).

With several years of experience in the field, Dr. Eden enjoys all aspects of dentistry including fillings, crowns and bridges, extractions, dentures, and educating her patients on how to achieve optimal oral health. She values her patients by making them feel as comfortable as possible during their dental visits and believes in building trusting relationships with them. Dr. Eden believes in getting to know her patients and gaining an understanding of their needs to collaborate on the best treatment possible. The practice also fosters a positive and supportive work culture that allows Dr. Eden to focus on what matters most – her patients.

During her free time, Dr. Eden enjoys powerlifting and visiting nature trails around Florida. She also enjoys baking and spending time with her fur babies, Lucky and Bean!
