Dr Ziyad Maali

Dr. Ziyad Maali, a dedicated dentist at Sand Lake Dental, has proudly served the Orlando community for over two decades. Growing up in the Dr. Phillips area from the age of seven, Dr. Maali is deeply connected to the region. His educational journey took him through Dr. Phillips Elementary, Westridge Middle School, and Dr. Phillips High School, after which he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2002. Following graduation, he refined his craft by working alongside experienced dentists before establishing his own practice near Dr. Phillips Hospital in Sand Lake Commons. Since then, Dr. Maali has expanded Sand Lake Dental, increasing its capacity to serve more community members in need of compassionate care.

Dr. Maali’s passion for dentistry is rooted in his love of smiles and laughter. With a focus on dental artistry, he finds fulfillment in helping patients alleviate pain and improve their oral health, boosting their confidence and overall well-being. Early in dental school, he recognized that his manual skills and creative vision made him ideally suited to a career dedicated to restoring and enhancing smiles.

A committed lifelong learner, Dr. Maali holds a fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry and is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Central Florida District Dental Association. His expertise extends to dental implants and facial aesthetics through memberships with the International Dental Implant Association and the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics. With a strong sense of community service, Dr. Maali partners with Donated Dental Services (D.D.S.) to provide essential care to those in need. Through his skills and service, Dr. Maali continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of his patients and his beloved Orlando community.
